Favorite Ride.

I rode to East Canyon today and that is my favorite ride. There is 3 great climbs, awesome descents and great scenery. And there is a store at East canyon, so if you need a coke or snickers or both to get you home there ya go. The snow is just about gone up there and the gates are still closed. What's your favorite ride?

Alpine Loop, for most of the same reasons you like East Canyon. The Nebo Loop is a close second, and Placerita Canyon (back home in LA) is another one of my favorites.

It's a toss up. From my house in Kaysville, Emigration to East Canyon is fantastic! Trappers to the old Snowbasin road is great as well. The Alpine loop is quite possibly the best over all though. On the mountain bike, it's all about Framington Canyon, to Francis peak. 5000 feet of climbing in around two hours. If you can deal with a few red necks in the lower part of the canyon the top half is 100% better. Great views, high elevation and typically no crowds.

Faceless- The alpine loop is awesome too. I really like that ride. I like going over Suncrest to add that little extra climb both ways.
Kday- Trappers to Snowbasin is a sweet ride, I have ridden that a few times. Have you gone up Powder Mountain before? I have been thinking of getting a MT bike, I am not very good on one but it sure is fun. I will have to try Farmington Canyon.
Piotrek-Sorry man, How is the heeling coming along? when are you going to be able to ride again?

I like the backus highway ride. All those big impressive trucks. everytime one goes past me super fast and blows a plume of smoke in my face, I feel like I am witnessing an amazing thing

Yeah, I started training again this week. If I stick to my indoor chores I may be able to do the Alpine loop sometime next month. I like going over Suncrest for warm up too... and then, for cool down.
